How Beauty Met the Beast (Tales of the Underlight)
More like 2.5 stars. I originally read it because it was set in Austin, but it could've been set anywhere for the amount of description that was given. It was an interesting premise and the world-building was good, but I didn't care for Jolie that much. Overall, at 38k words, it was too short and didn't feel complete. The end just kind of happened without any wrap-up. I know it's part of a series, but it seems like it would've been better as one longer book instead of three incomplete books.
