Enchanting the Lady

Enchanting the Lady - Kathryne Kennedy More like 2.5 stars. It was decent enough that I made it to the end, but I didn't love it. I'm kind of over a heroine that thinks she's plain, even if it was a spell in this case. Especially because when the spell was removed, carriages "crashed in the street" due to her beauty. Oy.

The male lead was described with "eyes as round as marbles" which was completely off-putting and I couldn't get that description out of my head for the rest of the book. Do you know how weird someone would look with completely circular eyes?

The end was wrapped up entirely too quickly and neatly.

The world was interesting and I actually would've preferred to see more of it and less of the two main characters, which pretty much sums up my feelings about the book.
