When the Duke Was Wicked
Though this is the first book of this spin-off series, it didn't seem like it. Many characters were mentioned as if we already knew them. Perhaps if I had read the Scoundrels of St. James books first this wouldn't have been a problem, but I didn't, and it was. I didn't care much for Grace or Lovingdon. Both were kind of meh. Grace had a "oh, woe is me, everyone wants to marry me" problem and Lovingdon had a hangup about his perfect dead wife. Neither one endeared them to me.
